Equipment warranty policy.
Review the one-year limited warranty for eligible machines, exclusions for consumables and wear items, category-specific terms, and the technical support claim process.
1. One-year limited machine warranty
New eligible machines sold by Geararo include a one-year limited warranty beginning on the documented delivery date, unless a different period is stated in the accepted quotation or sales agreement. This can include eligible dry ice equipment and other industrial machines expressly identified as covered in the transaction documents. During this period, Geararo will evaluate verified defects in materials or workmanship affecting normal machine operation. An approved remedy may include technical guidance, repair, replacement of a defective covered component, or another commercially reasonable solution selected by Geararo.
2. Products covered and category-specific terms
The one-year machine warranty applies to the principal machine assembly and covered non-consumable components supplied as part of the original eligible configuration. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and installation unless Geararo approves a transfer in writing. Project power equipment, electrical products, replacement parts, accessories, third-party equipment, compressors, tanks, batteries, chargers, and branded safety products are governed by the warranty stated in the accepted quotation or applicable manufacturer documentation; no coverage should be inferred from the category alone.
3. Consumables and wear items are not covered
Consumables and components that naturally wear, erode, fatigue, clog, harden, or degrade during operation are excluded from warranty coverage. Typical exclusions include nozzles, blast hoses, air hoses, seals, O-rings, gaskets, filters, lubricants, protective films, gloves, earplugs, respirator cartridges, batteries, bulbs, and similar service items. Pellet-contact and high-velocity flow components may also be treated as wear items when inspection shows normal operational wear rather than a manufacturing defect.
4. Conditions of coverage
Covered equipment must be installed, commissioned, operated, cleaned, charged, stored, and maintained according to its documentation and reasonable industrial practice. Category-appropriate requirements may include clean and adequately dried compressed air, suitable process media, correct voltage, frequency and phase, compatible batteries and chargers, approved pressure or load ranges, ventilation, grounding, and compatible accessories. Maintenance records, operating hours, photographs, video, serial number, and air or electrical measurements may be requested to verify a claim.
5. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, impact, dropping, corrosion, freezing moisture, contaminated air, incorrect voltage, unstable power, inadequate grounding, overpressure, unauthorized modification, improper transport, neglected maintenance, blocked filters, unsuitable pellets, incompatible parts, accidents, fire, flooding, environmental exposure, or operation outside published limits. Cosmetic changes that do not affect function are not covered.
6. Claim procedure
Stop using equipment if continued operation could increase damage or create a safety risk. Email info@geararo.com with the order reference, model, serial number, delivery date, operating hours, a clear description of the fault, troubleshooting already completed, and supporting photographs or video. Do not return equipment or parts without written return authorization and shipping instructions.
7. Inspection, parts, and labor
Remote diagnosis is normally the first step. Geararo may ask the customer to perform safe inspection steps or replace an approved serviceable component. Coverage of parts, workshop labor, field labor, travel, diagnostics, and freight depends on the confirmed cause and the transaction documents. Labor performed by an unauthorized party is not reimbursable unless approved in writing before the work begins.
8. Shipping and international service
The customer must package returned parts or equipment appropriately and follow the issued return instructions. Unless the accepted quotation states otherwise, costs for removal, crating, international freight, customs, duties, taxes, on-site travel, and expedited delivery are not automatically included in warranty coverage. Replacement items may be shipped after technical verification or subject to a refundable deposit.
9. Warranty limitations
This limited warranty provides the remedies described above and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, project approval, or suitability for every application. Results depend on the complete system, utilities, compatible interfaces, operating environment, process media, maintenance, and operator practice. To the extent permitted by law, indirect losses, lost production, lost profit, rental equipment, and consequential damages are excluded. Rights that cannot be limited under applicable law remain unaffected.
