GR-EACT-CS-MV is a cold-shrink cable termination system for compatible medium-voltage cable installations. The pre-expanded elastomeric components contract onto the prepared cable when the supporting core is removed, avoiding a heat source or open flame during installation. Stress-control and sealing components are arranged around the cable insulation and screen according to the selected kit design.
The kit is not selected by voltage alone. Cable conductor size, insulation diameter, screen construction, sheath diameter, cable type, lug dimensions, indoor or outdoor location, altitude, pollution, and required creepage distance all affect compatibility. Confirm the cable data sheet and prepared dimensions before ordering or installation.
